On February 1, 2017, the world lost an artist. A writer. A dreamer. A charming man whose brilliance was an entity of envy. He was a loyal husband, a tenacious and loving father, a grandfather full of life.Youngest of 13 children, his name was Douglas Lee. Player of multiple musical instruments. A record collector for decades; an aficionado if you will. He was a magically gifted musical man. Strumming gently on his guitar for one and all… His mind, though beautiful and wise, often bore a burdensome and wearying load. We take comfort in knowing that, for once, he will find eternal peace. Doug, Dad, Gramps, Grandpa. The man who won’t fit in. You are a piece of us all, and we are a piece of you. For that, we thank you. Until we meet again, we shall dance beneath your ray of light.
Your wife – Helen. Your daughters – Erin, Shani and Amanda. Your grandchildren – Joshua, Emily, Keaton and Makeda.
