Montgomery, Dorothea “Peanut” Irva
March 16, 1929- June 25, 2014

Peacefully at Riverpark Retirement Residence on Tuesday, June 25th, 2014, Dorothy Irva Montgomery, aged 85 years. Predeceased by her parents Irvine Montgomery and Anna Mae Patrick. Sadly missed by her cousins, long-time friend Doug Fleming and many other friends. Retired employee of the City of Ottawa. Active in the Young People's Union of the United Church of Canada. Loyal and dedicated member of the United Church Women of Westboro United Church and Kitchissippi United Church. Special thanks to Riverpark Retirement Residence for the superb care and Tubman Funeral Homes for their compassionate service. At Dorothy's request, there will be no visitation, cremation has taken place and a private inurnment will be held. A memorial service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be held at the Kitchissippi United Church, 630 Island Park Drive, Ottawa, K1Y 0B7, on Tuesday, July 8th, 2014 at 11 a.m. Donations in Dorothy's memory can be made to the United Church Women of Kitchissippi United Church.
