Doris Evelyn Stinson

At home with her family around her, in her 93rd year, Mom left us peacefully in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 21, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Percy Stinson (July 2013). Loving mother of Carol Westcott and Lyle (Mary-Jane). Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Patricia), Shane (Lindsay) and Gerianne and great grandmother of Ryan, Aiden, Keegan, Catherine Rose and Lily. Predeceased by parents Heber and Della (Neelin) Gordon and brother Burton (late Audrey). Survived by sister-in-law Phyllis Hamilton (late Hillis) and brother-in-law Garnet Cowell (late Mildred). Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to visit at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars (East of Hwy 416), on Tuesday, June 24th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Manotick on Wednesday, June 25th at 1 pm. Interment Rideauvale Cemetery, Kars, ON.
