Peacefully at Winchester District Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, October 31, 2013, age 71 years. Beloved wife and best friend for 53 years of Fred. Cherished mother of Gina Rafter (Rod) and loving grandmother of Kurt and Brett. Donna will be greatly missed by her sisters Norma Larose (late Fred) and Joyce Puckett (late Art); sister-in-law Doreen Barr and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Lottie (Stanley) Barr and brother Howard Barr. A special thank you to all the dedicated staff at Dundas Manor for their kind care over the past few months. Also, a special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff (Justus Wing) at Winchester District Memorial Hospital. Friends may attend a visitation at the Almonte Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 154 Elgin St., Almonte on Wednesday, November 6th from 11 a.m. until time of memorial service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery.
