CARMICHAEL, Donald "Don" Joseph
passed away at Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in Ottawa, Ontario at the age of 80. He was born January 22, 1938 to Joseph and Antoinette (nee Godin) Carmichael in Pembroke, Ontario.
He is survived by his wife Dorille (nee Bertrand); his son, Brian (Lyne) Carmichael of Embrun and daughter, Evelyn (Scott) Dale of Ottawa; 5 grandsons: Matthew, Christopher, Eric, Jeffrey and Alex; as well as great-grandson Theodore; his sister, Evelyne Lacombe; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A mass will be held at St. George's Parish, 415 Piccadilly Ave, Ottawa on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 1 p.m., reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bruyere Foundation.
