Service – David Michael

Peacefully in hospital on Thursday, August 31, 2023, with his wife Debbie by his side, in his 66th year.  Beloved husband of Debbie (Urquhart). Dear father of Amanda Osman (Dwight) and Katie Service (Darien Smith).  Loving grandfather to Jadie, Evelyn, new baby boy arriving soon and Eryk. Little brother to Donald (Carolyn), John (Tammy), and Colleen Joice (Gordon).  Dear son-in-law of Evelyn Urquhart. He will also be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Dave was a big man with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Those who knew him loved him. He enjoyed nothing more than to entertain his many lifelong friends. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone and to give his opinion in his own way. His unique sense of humour will continue to live on in our hearts.

 A private family service will be held at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes.

 A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 9 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Pierces Corner Hall 3048 Pierce Rd. at Malakoff Rd. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Lung Association.
