Dalbert Lyngard

We sadly announce the passing of Dalbert Duane Lyngard on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the age of 95 years. 

 Dalbert was born in Edmonton on September 27, 1928 to Johaness Lyngard and Pearl (nee Weymouth). 

 He was the loving husband to the late Mary Higson for 70 years. Beloved father to Evelyn (late Edward), Cecelia, Allan (†), Dawn (†) (late Benjamin), Delores (late Robert) and Darlene (late Perry). Proud Grandfather to Michelle, Paul, Carrie, Laura, Amanda, Steven, Melanie, Rebecca, Patrick, Kimberly, Trevor, Tyler, and Andrew; and treasured grandfather to 20 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his siblings Jack, Dale, Doreen, Daphne and Dolly.

 Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, between Bayshore and Baseline Road on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 6 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 7 p.m. The service will be live streamed, and the link will be available on Dal’s tribute page at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com
