Coreen Nakamura

Nakamura, Coreen (nee Coburn) passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the age of 76 years old.

Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Hazel Coburn, and brothers Douglas Coburn and Ross Coburn.

Survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ko Nakamura.

Lovingly remembered by children Laura Nakamura (Chris Maynard), Jason Nakamura (Stephanie), Joel Nakamura; grandchildren Olivia O'Brien, Owen O'Brien, Jax Nakamura, Zoey Nakamura; brother Bruce Coburn (Lois Brownlee); sister Joyce Johnson (Robert); and her nieces and nephews.

Coreen grew up a farm girl in Alliston, Ontario. After meeting her husband Ko, they travelled the world while raising their 3 children. She will be fondly remembered for her delicious home cooked meals. Coreen loved morning coffees, a good romance novel, and wildlife shows. She enjoyed lunch dates with her girlfriends, and was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. The family finds comfort knowing she will be reunited with the beloved family dog, Suki.

Private family service to be held.
