Clifford Farrell

Cliff, a long time resident of Stillwater Creek, passed away gently, on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital in his 92nd year. He was predeceased by his cherished wife, Rhea. He will be missed by daughters Rhonda Leroux (Bob) and Darla Ripley (Brian); grandchildren James (Julian), Rob (Caroline), Paul (Erin), Craig (Lea) and Patti (Ben); great-grandchildren Anthony, Abigail, Mya, Alivia, Ryan, Jackson and Isabelle. Survived by sister Rita and sisters-in-law Jean and Yvonne. After a long and distinguished career with the Federal Public Service, Cliff enjoyed a long and happy retirement with his wife in Ottawa and Florida. The family would like to thank the nursing staff for their compassionate care and friends for all their support. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Tuesday, September 24th from 10:00 am until service time, which will be held in the Chapel at 11:30 am, followed by a reception. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. Interment of cremated remains, to rejoin his wife, will take place at Memorial Gardens, Venice Presbyterian Church, Venice, FL at a later date.
