Peacefully in hospital on Thursday, January 5, 2023 in her 91st year.  Friend and loving partner for 56 years of Betty Brown.  Cherished sister of Bev Baker (Gail).  Loving aunt of Clara Steel (Rod) and Karen Anderson (Neil). Also survived by her great nieces Mandy Steel and Tessa Trahan (Taylor) and their daughter Hayden. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Nola Baker. Clara played for the Schmodkas for 40 years and thoroughly enjoyed it.  Friends may attend a visitation at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars on Thursday, January 12th from 1 to 4 p.m.  Memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, Richmond on Friday, January 13th at 11 a.m.  Those wishing may make memorial donations to the charity of their choice.
