Surrounded by her loving family, on May 17th, 2022 at the age of 73, we lost our beloved mother, sister and Granny. Predeceased by her parents Gerald and Vera (Hopeson) Allen. Predeceased by her sisters Margery (Bob) Dean, Dorothy (Ray) Skrypnyk and her brother-in-law Johnny Giard. Survived by her sisters Kay and Barb, loving children Christine (Paul), Laura and Jeff (Paula), and cherished grandchildren Andrew, Charlotte, Jack and Victoria. Fondly remembered by many sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to the caring staff at Granite Ridge Care Community - Cottage House.

Family and friends may visit at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd.) on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the Outdoor Chapel (weather permitting) or in the case of inclement weather, it will move to the indoor Chapel, on Wednesday, May 25th at 11 a.m., followed by a reception. Please note, masks are required.

The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Humane Society or Canadian Wildlife Federation in Claire's name.

Claire's burial will take place on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Pinecrest Cemetery at 10:30
