Christopher Bradshaw

November 30, 1960 — June 20, 2014

Christopher John Bradshaw

Sadly, Chris passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the age of 53. He was at home, and very much aware that he was surrounded by family and friends who loved him. He touched so many lives in such a positive way, leaving each of us with a grin on our faces and a sense of overwhelming love in our hearts. He was the much loved son of the late Joseph and Betty Bradshaw, and dear brother of Jo-Anne Gray (husband Ronald), Cathryn Bradshaw, Michael Bradshaw, David Bradshaw (wife Gloria), Julia Risser (husband Patrick), Lydia Bradshaw (partner Gordon), Victoria Paul, Virginia Gunner (husband Mark), Daniel Bradshaw (wife Janice) and Janet Giroux. A Memorial Reception will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
For those wishing, a donation in Memory of Chris to Total Communication Environment (TCE) ( http://www.tceottawa.org/en/tce/Home_p534.html ) would be appreciated by the family. Chris' family can't express how supportive and caring this organization has been to Chris not only throughout his illness but for the last 15 years. The difference that they make in the lives of people with disabilities is overwhelming.
A Private burial of Chris' urn will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 in Port Home where he will be beside his Mom and Dad.
Chris will be forever in our hearts.
Condolences, tributes or donations may be made at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com .
