Christina Kennedy Hepburn (née Bain)

Chris passed away in Ottawa, Ontario, at the age of 91. She was born in Rutherglen, Scotland to Malcolm and Christina Smith Bain (née Kennedy). She met the love of her life, Alexander Hepburn, when he was on a trip home to Scotland. Alex had immigrated to Canada in 1957 and Chris decided to join him on his Canadian adventure. They were married in Kapuskasing, Ontario, on June 10, 1960. She possessed a passion for learning and was an avid reader, cruciverbalist, gardener, and knitter. Chris’ smile and loving spirit will be deeply missed by her daughter Christina Gail (Martin), son Kenneth Alexander (Christina), grandchildren Nicholas and Paeden, and nephew Robert Bain (Kate). Predeceased by her beloved husband, Alex, and brother, Robert Bain. 

A private family gathering will be held.
