Chantal Lefebvre

Passed away at her residence on Saturday February 12, 2022, at the tender age of 51. Loving daughter of Gaetan and Murielle Lefebvre. Cherished by her son Brandon Lacaille (Rachel Vossenberg) and his father Terry Lacaille. Fondly remembered by her siblings Stéphane (Andrée), Gilles and Manon (Christian Dubé). Proud aunt of Krystelle and her daughter Charlie, Laurie, Guillaume, Cédric and Jérémy.

Chantal was born December 9th, 1970 in Lorretteville, Quebec. At 22 years of age, she had her first and only child, Brandon, and moved to Angus, Ontario with her young family 2 years later. She began and continued to run a successful hairdressing business for the better part of 25 years. The door to her home was always open, like her heart and her mind. Anyone who visited for a haircut or glass of wine knew how she loved to sing and dance.

She was described as vibrant, strong, funny, charismatic, caring, generous, but most of all a wonderful mother.

She will be missed by a loving family, and the many friends that she always made welcome in her home.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes and cremation has taken place. Interment will take place in Québec City for her close family. For those wishing, donations in Chantal’s memory may be made to The Center for Addiction and Mental Health.

Elle était la fille aimante de Gaétan et Murielle Lefebvre et était chérie par son fils Brandon Lacaille (Rachel Vossenberg) et son père Terry Lacaille. Se souviendront d'elle avec tendresse ses frères Stéphane (Andrée) et Gilles ainsi que sa soeur Manon (Christian Dubé). Elle était la fière tante de Krystelle et sa fille Charlie, Laurie, Guillaume, Cédric et Jérémy.

Chantal est née le 9 décembre 1970 à Lorretteville (Québec). À l'âge de 22 ans elle a donné naissance à son fils unique, Brandon, et elle est déménagée avec sa jeune famille à Angus (Ontario) deux ans plus tard. Elle a alors ouvert et opéré un salon de coiffure pendant près de 25 ans. La porte de sa demeure était toujours ouverte, tout comme celles de son coeur et de son âme. Quiconque la visitait pour une coupe de cheveux ou un verre de vin savait à quel point elle aimait chanter et danser.

On la qualifiait de vibrante, forte, drôle, charismatique, affectueuse, généreuse, mais surtout de merveilleuse maman.

Sa présence manquera à sa famille aimante ainsi qu'aux nombreux amis qu'elle a toujours accueillis dans sa demeure.

Les arrangements funéraires ont été confiés à la chapelle Westboro des Maisons funéraires Tubman et l'incinération a eu lieu. L'inhumation aura lieu à Québec pour la famille immédiate. Les personnes qui le souhaitent peuvent faire un don au Center for Addiction and Mental Health en mémoire de Chantal.
