It is with profound and overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Carolyn. Cherished mother of Alannah, Nolan, and Scott Galbraith. Soul mate, partner, best friend and wife of Glen Galbraith. Sister of Marlene Cousins, Richard Kempthorne, and Harley Kempthorne. Daughter of Ruth and Harland Kempthorne.

Wife, teacher, friend she showed grace and humility to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was the centre of our universe and will be forever etched in all aspects of our lives. There are no words that could be written that would adequately describe how much she meant to her family or the vast void she has left behind with her passing.

Her beauty radiated not just from her outward appearance, but from the depths of her soul. Her smile could light up the darkest of rooms, and her laughter was a melody that brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to hear it. Her beauty was the way she lived her life with an unwavering kindness and compassion that truly set her apart. She had a heart that overflowed with love, always ready to lend a hand to those in need, and to offer words of comfort to those who were hurting. Her capacity for empathy knew no bounds and her ability to make people feel seen and valued was a gift she shared freely with the world.

Her love for our family was the cornerstone of her existence. She was a devoted mother who poured her heart and soul into nurturing her children, instilling in them the values of kindness, resilience, and the importance of embracing life’s challenges with grace. Her role as a wife was equally profound, as she stood by her husband’s side through thick and thin, a steadfast partner in their journey together.

As we reflect on her life, let us remember the moments we shared with her, the laughter that echoed in our hearts, and the love that she showered upon us all. Though she may no longer be with us in the physical sense, her spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear.

In closing, let us mourn her passing, but also, let us celebrate the privilege of having known such an extraordinary soul. The funeral service will be held on Saturday August 12th, 2023 at 10 A.M. at Tubman Funeral Homes, Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), Nepean. Followed by a celebration of life at the family home.
