Carl Ellement

Peter Ellement, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to anyone he ever met, passed away October 23, 2013 in his 70th year in hospital in Buckingham, Quebec.

He will be forever missed by the love of his life, his wife Shirley (Stufko), whom he married under a Blue Moon 43 years ago.

His son, Christopher and wife Chantal and daughter Sara were the pride and joy of his life, only topped by his love for his grandchildren Brandon and Marie-Soleil (Chris and Chantal), and his special buddy, grandson Kaleb (Sara).

Peter leaves a hole in the hearts of his brother David of Calgary, and his sister and brother-in-law Mary and Bruce Mayhew of Renfrew, Peter and Shirley's hometown.

He will be forever remembered by his "second" family, the Stufkos, Wayne and Bev; Joe, Diane Mang, Karen Bennett and Jill and Dave Hanniman.

Peter was predeceased by his parents Gladys (1975) and Cecil (1996); his brothers Paul (1977) and Andy (2013), and his sister and brother-in-law Carole (2009) and Bill (2009) McMahon.

Peter is also survived by many nieces and nephews, who will forever cherish their memories of their "Uncle Pete".

Peter's wishes were for no funeral service. Rather, we ask you to please take a moment to remember him with a smile, a kindness to someone else, or perhaps even honour him with a raised glass and a bent elbow.

Your footsteps will never be erased from our hearts.
