Suddenly, at home, on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the age of 61. Deeply loved by all, he was the best friend, lover and confidante for 43 years and will be forever cherished by his wife Debbie (née Giroux). Greatest father and protector of Robert (Caroline) and Christine (Al Nanji). Proud and adored Grandpa of Constance and Nathan. Dear brother of Sharon Martinsen (Ken). He will also be greatly missed by Bob and Pauline Giroux and the entire Giroux family, as well as many friends. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt) on Thursday, November 28th, 2013 from 10:00 am until time of service, celebrating Brian’s life, in the chapel at 12:30 pm., followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Ottawa Food Bank or the Canadian Red Cross – Philippine Relief Fund would be appreciated.
