Allston, Brenda Katherine Ann (Sauve)

Suddenly at home on Monday, January 17, 2022, at the age of 68 years. Dear daughter of the late Ted and Jean Sauve. Beloved wife of the late Bruce. Devoted mother of David and Andrew (Heather). Loved gramma of Xavier, Emmett and Lawson. Big-hearted sister of Rick (Kelly). Caring friend of Kevin Taylor.

How fortunate anyone who met her was to share in her laughter, her warmth and her endless optimism. A selfless, caring and loving stay-at-home Mom, who was also Mom to so many others, be it for friends’ children she watched, or kids in the playground where she volunteered. She worked for years at Family Service Centre and later at Stats Canada, becoming an unforgettable friend and confidant to all she worked with. She was a kind and helpful neighbour, and would help anyone, even a total stranger in need. In her later years she endured endless health challenges, never complaining, never wanting anyone to worry about her, while she worried for everyone else. Rest in peace, Mom. I’m sure it’s been a happy reunion in heaven with Dad, Nan and Pop.

As per Mom’s wishes there will be only a small family graveside service in early May.

And when you finally fly away, I'll be hoping that I served you well.

For all the wisdom of a lifetime, no one can ever tell.
