It is with regret and extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Betty on Thursday, February 1, 2018. Now at peace after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Graham. Betty was a most loving and caring mother, sister, friend and Nanny and is loved by all that knew her. She will be dearly missed by her three sons: Mike (Allison), Rob (Arlene) and Steve (Kerry). Cherished and loving Nanny of Marc, Jesse, Kenny, Janelle, Justin, Tyler, Ashley, Evan, Mackenzie, Brady, Ellie Rose and Cooper. Betty was the daughter of the late Byron and Margaret (nee Hargrave) Ault. She is survived by her brothers Wendell (Isobel), Mike (Bev), Butch (Tawnya), her sister Marguerite (Al Beckstead) and her sister in law Pat Ault. Predeceased by her siblings Frank and Patsy Ault. She will also be dearly missed by her brothers and sister in laws and her many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Brinston, Ontario, Betty graduated from Iroquois High School and went onto Teacher's College. She was a teacher for 42 years with the Ottawa Carleton District School Board. Betty and Gord were married in 1962 and went onto raise their 3 sons in Bell's Corners. Betty's pride and joy were all her grandchildren. Betty also enjoyed time traveling, quilting, spending time at the cottage and attending service at the Bells Corners United Church. Visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes 3440 Richmond Rd, Ottawa (At Bayshore Drive.) on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Bell's Corners United Church, 3955 Old Richmond Rd, Nepean on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 11 a.m., followed by a reception. Memorial donations can be made to the Bell's Corners United Church, 3955 Old Richmond Rd, Nepean, On K2H 5C5, or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, 1500 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa, On K1G 3Y9, would be appreciated by the family.
