Bernadette Helen Fyfe

She was born the youngest child on October 8, 1933, in Verdun, Quebec to the late Bernard & Annie Quinn and was preceded in death by her six brothers & sisters.  

Bernice was predeceased by Bill Fyfe her husband of many years, and she was also left to mourn the heartbreaking loss of her two beautiful daughters Judy Fyfe & Donna Fyfe.  

She will be forever and fondly remembered as ‘Nanny’ by her grandsons Andrew Cameron & Bradley Cameron of Toronto and Joey Souliere (Carla Hedges) of Vancouver and also left to grieve is her wonderful son-in-law Gib Souliere (Cathy White) who was her devoted advocate and caregiver. 

In her golden years, Bernice was blessed to have met the most caring man, the late Bob Jennings and the two became inseparable partners who traveled, wined & dined, laughed, and loved for ten incredible years. 

Bernice will always be warmly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family & friends and by Linda Fullum who also assisted in her care. 

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road, Ottawa on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 11:00 until the time of service in the chapel at noon. Burial to follow at Capital Memorial Gardens.
