Bernadette Foley

Bernie passed away peacefully on Friday, September 20th, 2013 in her 97th year and was comforted by her family through her last days. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Foley. Loving mother of Carroll, Donald, Rita Ovington (the late Leo), Phyllis Cross (Keith Anderson), Mark (Janet) and Marie Dolan (George). Survived by her sisters Margaret O'Keefe and Irene McCloskey, and sister-in-law Loretta Carroll. Predeceased by her brothers Eugene, Joseph, Leo, and sisters Mary Porter and Marion Charlebois-Holmes. Fondly remembered by Pat Foley, her 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the medical staff and the Palliative Care Team at the Queensway Carleton Hospital for all their care. Friends may call at the Carp Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp on Sunday, September 22nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Isidore Roman Catholic Church, 1135 March Road, Kanata on Monday, September 23rd at 11 a.m. For those wishing, donations may be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute
