Basil William Albert Parks

March 11, 1936 — September 1, 2024

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Basil Parks at Granite Ridge Care Community -Stittsville after years of fighting dementia. He is finally at peace.

Predeceased by his mother Ermel Parks (Faulkner) and father Orville Parks, brothers Weldon Parks (Beryl), Rodney Parks, and Dalton Parks (Barb), and sisters Delores Hayes (Bill), Romelda Irwin (Mathew), Lorraine McKay (Bill), Dwyla Toomath (Ernest).

Survived by sisters Marguerite Scott (Glen) and Karon Mills. Uncle Basil will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews as a pretty “hip” uncle.

Interment at Pinecrest Cemetery

A thank you to the staff at Stittsville Villa where his journey began and lastly at Granite Ridge. A special thank you to the staff on Carlow unit for the care and assistance provided to him.

Rest In Peace Basil
Love Always
