It is with great sadness we announce the death of Basil on November 17, 2013 surrounded by his loving family at the Hull Hospital at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Margaret (Steele). Dear father of his only son Shane (Karen). Basil is survived by two special grandsons Ben (Kristine) and Jason and by two little great-grandsons Aiden and Aaron and by sisters Alberna and Anita. Predeceased by his parents Clara and Gerald and by brothers Lawrence and Denzil. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road, (at Roosevelt) on Wednesday, November 20h, 2013 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. only. Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church Aylmer, 101 Symmes Street, Aylmer, Quebec on Thursday, November 21st at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Christ Church Heritage Restoration Fund would be appreciated.
