Barry Carson

It is with much sorrow that we announce the passing of our brother Barry. Predeceased by his parents, Vera and Robert Carson, his brother William and sister Diane. Barry is survived by his brothers Robert(Beth), Brian(Lynn) and sister Cheryl(Larry Moulds).

Graduating from Carleton University, he had a long and distinguished career in the Department of National Defence, only retiring in September 2022 after more than 40 years of service.

Barry had a soft spot in his heart for cats and was a willing volunteer and foster home for Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue for many years.

Friends and family may visit at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 9 am until Funeral Service in the chapel at 11 am. Burial will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue or the Ottawa Humane Society in Barry's memory would be appreciated by family.
