Anthony (Tony) PARSONS

PARSONS, Anthony Conroy January 5, 1936 (Sheffield, England) – June 24, 2018. Tony Parsons passed away peacefully on June 24, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife Yvonne (nee Leaker ), and later companion Shirley (nee Hendry). He was a proud Father of his son Jonathan and his daughter Kathryn. He was the proud grandfather of both Lucas and Rhea. Tony lived a life full of learning, educating, creating and love for his family. After growing up in Sheffield, England, Tony emigrated to Canada and went on to obtained degrees in Industrial Design from Syracuse University and a Master in Systems Design Engineering from Waterloo University. He later returned to academic life as a professor of Industrial Design which allowed him to touch many lives, sharing his creative passion for all those who would listen and absorb. Throughout his life he enjoyed sports, literature and time spent with nature's animals. A celebration of life will be held for those who were close to Tony and his family in late summer.
