Whalen – Anne (née Rodier)
Peacefully at home with her daughters by her side on Thursday, June 13, 2019 in her 96th year. Beloved wife for 62 years of the late Bill Whalen (April 2019). Loving mother of Maureen (Clyde Paul), Mary (Doug Cleary), Elaine (deceased 2015), Theresa and Madeline. Predeceased by infant children John (1962), and Susan (1963). Very proud grandmother of A.J. and Austin Paul; Conor, (Morgan Anna Reed), Bridget (Andrew de Jong), Samuel, Fiona and Aiden Cleary; James Brough (Angela) and Matthew Whalen; Megan (Paul Devries), Bryson and Cayse Ruiter (Justine Anderson). Great grandmother of Dawson and Mara Devries, and Ruthann de Jong. Survived by her sister Marie Shoulak of Saskatchewan. Predeceased by her siblings Henriette, Gabriel, Theresa, Joseph, Raymond, and Stella. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Anne loved being a school teacher for over 35 years until she retired at the age of 63 when she had grandchildren.
