It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Kinsman, who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on February 25, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Anne is survived by her mother Lee; her brother Bruce; her sister-in-law Wendy; her niece Kloë; and her Uncle Bill. She was a highly respected and much liked intellectual property lawyer and senior partner at the law firm of Borden Ladner Gervais. Serving as a gifted mentor, a driven leader, and a valued compatriot Anne will be sorely missed by her colleagues and friends at the firm. Anne was passionate about her work, and enjoyed travelling, wilderness canoeing, flying, and being with family and friends. A devoted daughter and sister and a loyal friend to many people, Anne was especially known for her great generosity, wit, and keen intellect. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt) on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. A Service Celebrating Anne's life will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 347 Richmond Road on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2 p.m.
