Anne went to Maria Goretti Elementary School in Quebec City. She attended Dominique Savio High School also in Quebec City, where she was the Class President. She worked as a teacher of French as a second language at the Central Bank of Canada and for many foreign embassies in Ottawa.
Anne was an elegant, intelligent, able, thoughtful and loveable woman. She enjoyed travelling, singing in the choir, dancing, visiting friends, roller blading, walking, loving nature, going on cruises and generally appreciating people and their stories. Anne did not fear death, she had no regrets, and she imparted her wisdom and ‘Zen-like' attitude up until her very last day. She was calm and peaceful, always consoling others in their sadness and in their sense of loss. She told stories about her wonderful experiences, shared memories, and communicated her gratitude for the profound love and support from her partner, from her family and from her friends. From the onset of Anne's illness, her husband Bob of 39 years, became a committed, undeterred, unwavering and indefatigable cancer-researcher in an effort to save his one and only true love.
