Ann Elizabeth Leyburne

Ann Elizabeth Leyburne (née Parkinson) passed away peacefully on September 27, 2024 in Ottawa. She was predeceased by her husband Dave Leyburne (1949-1999), her brother Paul Parkinson, and her parents Kenneth Parkinson and Madeline (Dann) Parkinson of St. Marys. Loving mother to Drew and his wife Kara (Ottawa), Troy (Georgetown), and Bret and his wife Kristina (Calgary). Beloved grandmother to Logan, Wren, Drake, Reese, and Max. Cherished sister-in-law and aunt.

Born October 21, 1951 and raised outside of St. Marys, Ann was always a farm girl at heart. She took pride in being a Registered Nurse, loved her family, and gave back to her church and community. While she battled various health issues for over 20 years, she never lost her smile and her sense of humour. A celebration of her life will be held in summer 2025 in Elgin County. Memorial donations welcomed at Ottawa Grace Manor (her home for the past six years) and the Canadian Mental Health Association.
