Anita Petitpas

February 19, 1928 — November 28, 2015

Peacefully on November 29, 2015 at the age of 87, cared for by the loving and exceptional staff of Medex Extendicare on Baseline Road, Ottawa. Anita Myles (nee Petitpas), born on February 19, 1928 in Saint John, New Brunswick and raised in Quebec City to parents Mederic Edmund Petitpas and Louise Bertha Lawrence. Anita was predeceased by her beloved Husband Robert Burns Myles (passed 2003), her Daughter Lise Bohna (nee Myles) and Brothers - Raymond, Harold, Lawrence and Louis. Anita is survived by her Sister Marie Keane (nee Petitpas), brother Melvin Petitpas, Son Lawrence Myles, Daughters – Lucie, Emily, Anne-Marie, Jessica, Grandchildren – Angelena, Jordann, Max, Ella, Joey, Amanda, Kyle and Great Grandson Robert. Anita had an unwavering faith in God and was a five decade long member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Above all, she was a devoted Wife and Mother to her Family, extended family and to anyone in need. Her unconditional love and support will be greatly missed by her children, who would not be where they are today without her fierce devotion. Friends may call at the Tubman Funeral Homes Westboro Chapel, 403 Richmond Rd (at Roosevelt Ave.) on Thursday December 3rd from 10H00-12H00 followed by a Catholic Mass, 13H00 at Our Lady of Fatima Parish located at 153 Woodroffe Avenue, immediately followed by a reception at the Tubman Funeral Homes Westboro Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Max Keeping Fund For Kids at CHEO, in honor of her love and devotion for all children.
