Andrew Hill Young

Andrew died the morning of September 5, 2024 in the wooded garden of Ruddy Shenkman hospice in Kanata surrounded by the love and laughter of his family. He kept his sense of humour to the end, with the last sounds he heard being the wind in the trees and our laughter at his last quip! 

He was loved and cherished as a husband to Dorothy; father to Keith and Stephanie; father-in-law to Manon and Christian; grandfather to Sophie, Elliot and Jordan; and brother to Jim (Beverly).

A celebration of Andrew's life will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Donations in Andrew’s memory may be made to Hospice Care Ottawa - Ruddy Shenkman facility or The Ottawa Hospital Foundation for Parkinson Disease Research.
