Peacefully, at home on July 17, 2022, our beloved Amelia Claire slipped away as gently as she lived her life. She was the cherished daughter of Maurice and Shelley Brazeau and loving sister of Emily Brazeau (Scott Cooper) Mathieu Brazeau (Jason Hanson) and Daniel Brazeau (Melissa). She will be missed by her many aunts and uncles; Laurie Champagne (Patrick Mates), Rebecca Seguin (Bob), Paul Champagne (Stephanie), Susan Wallace, Peter Champagne (Maria) and Paul Brazeau (Joan). Amelia‘s nieces, Brontë Cooper, Eleyna, Vera Mia, and Santana Brazeau and her nephews Noah, Jonah and Xavier Cooper will miss their Auntie Amelia dearly. She will also be fondly remembered by her many cousins. Amelia was our bright light. She wasn’t given an easy life but gave more to her family and friends than anyone could return in kind. Her magnetism for gratitude, kindness and happiness was felt by everyone around her. Her smile would light up a room. She was cherished every day of her life and we are all better for having her in our lives. If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever. Friends and family may pay respects at the Tubman Funeral Home – Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Rd on Thursday, July 28, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 29, at 11:00 am at Église Saint Rémi, 2821 Demaurier Ave. Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank St. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Easter Seals. https://www.easterseals.org

Amelia Claire Brazeau Paisiblement, à la maison le 17 juillet 2022, notre chère Amelia Claire s'est éteinte aussi doucement qu'elle a vécu sa vie. Elle était la fille bien-aimée de Maurice et Shelley Brazeau et sœur aimante d'Emily Brazeau (Scott Cooper), de Mathieu Brazeau (Jason Hanson) et de Daniel Brazeau (Melissa). Elle manquera à ses nombreux oncles et tantes : Laurie Champagne (Patrick Mates), Rebecca Seguin (Bob), Paul Champagne (Stephanie), Susan Wallace, Peter Champagne (Maria) et Paul Brazeau (Joan). Les nièces d'Amelia, Brontë Cooper, Eleyna, Vera Mia, et Santana Brazeau et ses neveux Noah, Jonah et Xavier Cooper s'ennuieront beaucoup de leur tante. Ses nombreux cousins se souviendront également d'elle avec affection. Amelia était une lumière vive. Elle n'a pas eu une vie facile, mais elle a donné plus à ses proches que l'on pourrait lui rendre la pareille. Son magnétisme pour la gratitude, la gentillesse et le bonheur était ressenti par tous ceux qui l'entouraient. Son sourire pouvait illuminer une pièce. Elle a été chérie chaque jour de sa vie et nous sommes tous meilleurs pour l'avoir connue. Si l'amour avait pu la sauver, elle aurait vécu pour toujours. La famille et les amis pourront offrir leurs condoléances à la maison funéraire Tubman – Garden Chapel, 3440 rue Richmond, le jeudi 28 juillet, entre 17 h et 19 h. Les obsèques auront lieu à l'église Saint-Rémi, 2821 avenue Demaurier, le vendredi 29 juillet à 11 h. La mise en terre suivra au cimetière Hope, 4660 rue Bank.
