Alice Mcdonald

Peacefully in Ottawa on July 5, 2013 in her 90th year. Beloved mother of Paul (Ann). Grandmother to Heather (Brad Thornton) of Ottawa and Ian (Lauren) of Kitchener. Great-grandmother of Ryah and Bryce Thornton. Sister to Grace Waters (late Don), Beatrice Stephenson (late Glyn), Francis Clappison (Philip), Jean Phalp (late Brian), Pauline Graham (Jim), Gerald Brubacher (Lola) and Sheldon Brubacher (Barb). Widow of Robert and Jack and predeceased by brothers Claude and Harold. Alice retired from the Toronto Board of Education in 1983 after many years of service. Memorial Service to be held at Royal York Road United Church, 851 Royal York Road, Etobicoke, on Thursday, August 1st, 2013 at 11:00am with interment at Park Lawn Cemetery to follow. Those wishing, may make memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society.
