Tilly passed away peacefully on Monday, October 7, 2024, in her 80th year, surrounded by her loved ones. She is predeceased by her parents Hector and Gezina, and siblings Gustaaf, Agaath, and Pieter. She is survived by her husband Rob, her children Matthew (Michelle), Gregory (Louise), and Janina (Frederic), her grandchildren Olivia, Nicholas, Katrina, and Charles, her brother Oncko and her sister Emilie.

Tilly lived a full and accomplished life as a registered nurse, mother, grandmother and author. She was known for her kindness and compassion and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
