Fierens, Adriaan Dirk

With family by his side, at the age of 87 years, Adriaan left us to tend the rose gardens in Heaven on Saturday, November 30, 2013. Predeceased by his beloved wife Maria (nee Ten Haaf). Loving father of Dirk (Trish) of Carleton Place, ON, Willemina Thistle (Joe) of Ashton, ON, Willem (Josephine) of Balder, MB, and Adrian (Wendy) of Kinburn, ON. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and family in The Netherlands. Adriaan was a resident of Kinburn, formerly of Ottawa, was proud of his Dutch heritage and was a member of the Dutch Resistance. Friends may call at the Calvin Christian Reformed Church, 1475 Merivale Road, Ottawa on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 10 a.m. until time of service in the church at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Calvin Christian Reformed Church would be appreciated.
